HAPPY 'VERSARY TO ME!

Yep, 17 years ago today, Carl and I were married. We had dated for eight years prior to that (you need to be sure about these things). Our honeymoon was a jetset to Kennebunkeport, ME, then the Bahamas and finally to Tampa, FL (we both worked for airlines after all). We have owned three houses since then and lived in two states together, been through two layoffs and Carl living out of state twice (once in NC and once in IL). We saw the tragedy of his mother's death at 52 years old and the challenge of my father's major heart attack at 64 years old. We were foster parents for five years and have adopted 3 children with another adoption now in progress.
There's about a b'zillion other things (dear to me and boring to you) I could share but just wanted, you know, to tell you...
It's my 'versary today and I love and cherish him as much as ever.
