People at the party are the real party people!

C'mon in and welcome to The Ultimate Blog Party. I'm just one of many stops you can make along the progressive blog party line. My blogging buddies over at 5 Minutes For Mom would reaaally love it if you stopped by their places as well.

Ever been to a progressive dinner? Similar concept, only you don't even need to leave your pajamas to be part of this scene. Now that's party worthy!

I see some unfamiliar faces in the house so let me introduce myself to all. I'm Toni (Antoinette actually, but that would be the 1040; Toni is my 1040EZ). I worked for about 14 years in the airline industry (oh, the thinks I could think and the blog entries I could write about that career). I also worked as an RN for several years before adopting our first child and deciding to stay home with her. That was over 7 years ago and we now have 3½ children (currently working on our fourth adoption, a smilin' 2 month old who is in our care).
I love small towns and ghost towns, country settings and walks with my family. My life is quite simple and I prefer it that way. Oh, and I'm also half Polish so I'm strong willed and determined.

I'm blogging because the blank page (or screen) calls to me. Seriously. I really think I hear the paper aisles whispering "Toni" when I'm in the business supply store. Can anyone relate? It's always been this way, my need to fill a blank page. Blogging gives me a way to release that need. And I blog from the slant of a 42 year old Christian homeschooling mother of young children and all the "to do's" we experience as the adoptive family God knitted together.

So, grab a pirogi and check out my blog. I'm so glad you're here and I hope you leave with a laugh and the intention of stopping by again sometime. Don't forget to leave a comment so I can visit with you as well. Oops, I smell burning or's dee horvies so I have to run. Mingle!

Disorganized procrastinator - that would be me and I am paying heavily for it now. We are moving and a little organization would really help. Oh well, too late now.

I hope you can stop by my blog too! Enjoy the party.

I'm delighted to meet you, and hope you wander my way, if you get a chance. I'm working on Baby #4 too, only mine's in my tummy. Isn't it fun to have babies? My hubby thinks I'm weird, because even though I have 3 1/2 kids myself, I have to look into every stroller that passes me!

Your kids are darling too, by the way. Hope to "see" you soon.

Hi again Toni, thanks so much for coming by. I am really proud of my soldier son and am happy you were touched by the post. Did I mention he is my YOUNGEST son, lol.

It made my day that you didn't think I was old enough to be his Mom. My other son will turn 26 this month. They are my world as you can imagine.

Thanks again for stopping by and if you didn't enter the contest, come on back by and give it a shot.

What a lovely site. I am also a RN but hoping to come home FT soon. The food looks fabulous!
I have my own varied seasons just this last year myself.... and I found God to be faithful in each one of them!

I really like the name of your site. Thanks for inviting us over! :-)

It is very nice to meet you, Toni. I am also a Christian homeschooling mom. I love how your family came to be. I love people who are willing to look outside of themselves and see the possibilities.

Please stop by my place, so we can get to know each other better. I actually have two blogsites and a website. My website is www.1christianmom.com.

I guess this is the right place. I'd have been here sooner, but I misplaced my map. ;)

Love the photo in your profile. Your children are precious!

Happy party week!

Thanks for popping into my party (such as it was). Hope you didn't mind the dog hair on your pants.

Cute kiddos! Two of my four are adopted, too. What a blessing it is, don't you think?

Oh goodness, I haven't had a pierogi in years!!! I think I'll have to add them to the list for my next grocery store run (Yeah...I buy 'em premade, not very creative, but it works! LOL)

I love perogi's -- I'm part Ukrainian and married into a Ukrainian family. I never learned to make them from scratch, that was for my Grandma....

Enjoy partying this week!!
