Strumpf!

And overheard at the lunch table today:

8yo Olivia: "Share some oatmeal pie with Brandon."
5yo Cierah: "No, he's too small."
Olivia: "He's not too small and we have to share with him."
Cierah: "But then my piece will be too small."
Olivia: "God gave the Israelites manna. Just enough for each day. You won't starve, now share!"
Me: Sigh.

Yep, God sure does provide just enough for each day. Strumpf! Give me just enough strumpf for today!

Awww! This blessed my heart SO much. Its one thing to teach our kids and hope they 'get' it, its a completely different thing when you see them applying it to their own lives!! Way to go, Mom!

Thats a good reminder. One I think I've needed lately. Our God is good, isn't He!

I once gave my toothless baby sister part of my cheese sandwich. My mom assured me she really was too small for sharing that.

Hee hee, I don't know why it's so endearing when they try to share spiritual truth in such impatient ways, but I too just have to laugh whenever my kids do it. How cute!

Pone...just letting you know I'm still stopping by and reading your blog. Keeping my plan on the birds so I'm not done yeat. Flying more RC jets and my skill level is through the roof. I'll post some about it on the other blog later this week

Your kids are funny! I'm the oldest child and I can totally see me and my sibs having that conversation when we were kids.
Thanks for the kudos on the scrapbook pages! I think I'm learning not to be in too big a hurry with my pages. Part of me wants to get the photos on the page and move on to the next one. I'm also a cheapskate and don't want to use up all my stuff (like there's a shortage or something!?!). But some of the best pages I've done are ones that I took the extra time and supplies. Ah well, its a work in progress!
