Ace of Cakes fan???

I've never watched the show myself. I am aware of it though, and can certainly appreciate the artistry and talent of Duff Goldman. He created a cake in honor of the 70th anniversary of the American Airlines Admirals Club (American Airlines being near and dear to my heart, as most of you know.)

It depicts a business traveler seated in the privacy of the members-only club, as an airplane takes off out the window. Wow! Can't believe it's a CAKE. I'll not tell my kids (they think my creations ARE Duff worthy, lol.)

I hadn't seen this. It IS quite something! I always wonder what they do with the cakes...do people actually cut them and eat them? I would like to see a show where they actually figure out how to do that. And seeing the inside of the cakes, how they have to piece them together to get the right shape...you gotta wonder what they look like inside.

LOL, Sniz. Good point. Kind of like I wonder what some of the Hollywood stars look like without everything stuffe in girdles or hiding behind plastic surgeries. :D

What a fun cake!!! Though I have to admit that the closest I've come to Ace of Cakes is "Cakewrecks" :-)
