And another Cierah moment
Before bathtime tonight, Cierah noticed a bar of soap on the counter in my bathroom.
"Mommy, what is that?"
"It's soap, honey."
"Oh. Well,...how do you squeeze it out of there?"
(Me, giggling) "No, honey. It's not like liquid soap. You don't squeeze it out at all."
"Oh, do you just rub your hands around it?"
"Yes, something like that. When I was a little girl, we didn't use liquid soap. Everyone used bar soap."
"Uh huh. Was that in the olden days?"
Sigh. Out of the mouths of babes.

LOL Try explaining cassette tapes and rotary phones! LOL
Oh my! Kids do have it so different don't they?!! I was watching several of my students give a presentation on Powerpoint. Back in our time, it was a poster and a speech. Wow!
You oldie but goodie! Well, since I'm 40 now, I guess I belong in that group from the olden days too!
Wow. Hadn't thought about bar soap being out dated. Cute.
Funny, we spent last weekend in a hotel and when I handed Olivia the bar soap she looked at it quizzically and asked "How do I use this?"
Are we really THAT old? sigh.
