I haven't fallen off the face of the earth...
...but it feels that way. I'm knee deep in last minute prep for the start of our homeschool year, which begins on Monday, September 3rd. Nothing like putting 'em to work on Labor Day, hee hee.
I sooo have to tell you about our annual send-off/kick-off trip to Indiana Beach, which we took this past week.
But, young campers, that story will have to wait until I get my school year launched.
Stay tuned.
And, the latest from our resident imp, Reece. He was playing a game with his big sister yesterday. Every time he won a hand, he giggled proudly.
"Reece, it's not good to be a sore loser. But at the same time, it's wrong to be a gloating winner. Your sister is not whining about losing, and it's not nice when you laugh every time you win another hand."
I expected him to chew on my words, then to willingly apologize to his sister for laughing, as is his nature. His response?
"Sorry you losed, Sis."
