Small Stuff
Speaking to Olivia in homeschool yesterday;
"Witch and which are pronounced the same way. However, they're spelled differently and have different meanings. They're homophones."
We went on to learn both spellings and the meaning associated with each, followed by further discussion about homophones.
I inquired (half joking), "SoooOOo,...which witch is which?"
She burst out in a giggle and replied, "That's like holiday whoopy what-y."
And now for Olivia's latest Bunkerism, spoken as she laughed at her uncoordinated manner of completing a common task."
"I'm so synthetic."
As always, it takes me a few minutes to figure out what she really meant. She meant to say, "I'm so pathetic."

This weather makes me feel synthetic, too. I don't wrinkle but I don't breathe well.
It must be fun to be synthetic! She is so clever, in a Bunker sort-of-way!
I love it when our kids try to say things that are suppossed to be grown up. These are the memories that we will treasure forever.
HAHA. No wonder Olivia and Izzi are friends!
Cute, cute, cute!
Too cute, don't you just love all their crazy sayings?
Blessings...
I love it! :D
She is too funny! That reminds me of my second graders when I teach to, too, and two!!
